but anyway, kong jo and reagan came down from malaysia to meet us! haha.
the whole group - 15 of us, went down to esplanade. sat and had our fellowship there. will always remember daniel's parable of the ant. haha.
we left at about 6+ for cheryl's house. met up with keith at yew tee. made our way to cheryl's house after that. her house is so cute lor. 3-storey bungalow. we had bbq at the roof-top. so romantic. dangs.
haha. all thanks to keith, the soymilk team will never go hungry.
candice gave everyone cookies that she personally baked. so sweet of her.
the bedok people (kevin, andris & i) gave them gingerbread guys/gals and christmas trees. they were actually bought by andris. very nice.
the best part of today - crazy gift exchange!
everyone had to put the crazy gifts that they prepared on the dining table.
we each took a number and went to the table to choose a gift.
then, he/she will open up the crazy gift.
if he/she wants a change, he/she can do so 3 times....here goes...
cheryl. she got a roll of toilet paper from aaron.
shermaine. she got a handphone pouch from our guest, andrew.
kong jo. being 'greedy', he took the biggest present, from me! haha. but, the not-so-good part? he took ages to open the present since it was wrapped in layers of newspapers. it was a normal present - a candle holder.
aaron. he got a do-it-yourself squishy beanie from andris.
sheena. got a packet of curry maggi mee, a pkt of chilli tapioca and a bottle of ginger beer from kenneth. so mean.
candice got a very nice present. it's for putting toilet roll, from keith.
i got a necklace. it's the shape of a piece of jigsaw, from candice. very sweet.
jeremy got a pair of feet from reagan. he loves it.
kenneth got a bottle of dettol from kong jo. how crappy is that.
keith got an NKF pen from cheryl.
andrew got 2 pairs of minnie mouse socks from jia ni.
kevin and andris got the same keychains from the twins (sheena & shermaine). it's pink colour. the crazy part - andris had to pin it on her hair & kevin had to pin it on his bag for a month
nicholas got a bottle. in it was water and marbles.
reagan got a Mr. Bean vcd from nicholas.
jiani got a pair of funky earrings from kevin. he bought it at a shop called 'Evan' @ the Esplanade. so cool right? the shop had my name. haha.
poor daniel. no one wanted to take his present. so being the last one, he had no choice but to take it.
well, that's not the end of the game.
jiani decided to change hers and she's very good lor. changed with my so beautiful necklace. so sad lor. in the end i got the earrings.
daniel changed his with kong jo. the present had a pink furry hair band, a pacifier, and a baby bib. and kong jo had to wear all of them.
cheryl changed hers with andrew. and surprisingly andrew was happy with that toilet roll.
kong jo changed his with candice. poor candice. but nvm, coz when it was her turn, she changed it back.
kevin changed his with daniel. poor daniel, he loved his present so much. but he couldnt get it back anymore.
i think nicholas switched his with aaron's.
sheena changed her box of spicy stuff with jiani. so that's where the beautiful necklace went to again.
jiani changed hers again with shermaine for the hp pouch. shermaine was so sad lor. the rest kept their gifts.
and after the game, sheena changed hers with mine! so sweet of her la! she knew i wanted the necklace so much. love her to bits! thanks a lot gal. haha.
jiani changed hers back with shermaine. she was so happy la.
we had our group photos taken and by the time we left, it was 10.30.
cheryl and her mum walked us out. i shared a cab with sheena, shermaine and jiani.
haha. a wonderful day indeed. i always love each and every reunion we have. it's as if we've known each other for years. we bring back happy memories after every reunion.
anyways, that's all, it's long enough.
