i slept in the bus while on the way to church just now, i took a nap when i reached church and i slept on the way home too.
my eyes just feel heavy.

here's a BIG BIG thank you to:

everyone in soymilk for that wonderful christmas party we had,
all MOE year 2s for the wishes, chocs, cookies, accessories, stickers, pretty cards, snowball, etc,
that sylvanian family accessories to put the 'fake food' =)),
push pop to relive my childhood days (remember that sweet thing, where the ad on tv used to go, 'push the pushpop...'

so this year's christmas went rather smoothly and grrrreat.
the company was good!
but it's been a while since i met up with those from sec school =(

watching vjc choir carol was good, especially with nelson kwei as the conductor.

i watched curse of the golden flower today.
i think the show's acceptable, not that great actually.
with so much killing scenes, and some complicated relationships going on, a father had to keep explaining the story-line to his 5-year-old daughter throughout the movie.

after that i was left ALONE to shop around.
weikang and christoven took ages to reach orchard la.
and walking around with weikang requires a rather high level of tolerance.

it's been raining almost every single hour, hasn't stopped since last night(?)
gosh, i've got ps tmr at 1030 and i have yet to practise.
oh yeah, friday's band was pathetic, with only 5 of us present?
despite that, there's still that assignment to complete within these 2 weeks.

anyways, i've been out practically every night for the past week.
so i decided i should stay home and rest on saturday.
packed the prezzies and cards in my momento box
and basically slacked at home.

worshipped at geylang church today before heading down to sentosa
did practically nothing except waiting for the blue line for ages since it was raining and yeah, i wasted my time there.
shopped around vivo after that.
but nothing ideal.

i'm so not in the i've-got-so-many-things-to-buy-but-so-little-cash mood.
get what i mean?

and neither am i in the i-must-blog-now mood.
nothing much has been happening around
except that christmas celebration i had with soymilk.
yeah it was a BLAST.
it's been a while since everyone got so high and went nuts.
i like the prezzie i got.
simple, sweet and apt.

the prezzie-exchange i had with joby jwen yam yam dora was grrreat too.
i got a cute lil snowball!
ehh, those that when u shake them a lil and then u see snowflakes moving round the glass ball.
ok, i've got no idea wad it's called, so yeah, snowball.
a file and a set of stickers plus that snowball all from jwennie darling.
yam yam got me a tin of hello kitty biscuits, a box of 'fake food', and some girly stuff.
the cards i got are real sweet too =))

anyways, it's 1140pm now.
another 20 mins to go, so here's wishing all u guys a

i'm wearing a rather thick windbreaker while typing this out.
is it the weather or is it just me falling sick?
oh gosh, this is so wrong a time to fall sick.

today's the LAST day of school.
most had theirs yesterday.
but i've still got band direction at 4 later.
then it'll be christmas dinner with soymilk.

i love Christmas. (yes, i've said it before)
it's a time of receiving and of course giving.
but do not forget Christ while we having fun on this special day
coz without Christ, there'd be no Christmas.

spent the last few days getting those cards written and wrapping up prezzies.
there are still some which have not been written yet.

the tests didn't go that smoothly.
melodic section of aural was the only one that i could write out fully
rhythmic and harmonic weren't that good.
harmony test is a goner, i tell you.
hope those aug 6ths/dim 7ths/N6 are in which they should be.

gave out those lil cards and chocs to the people in school.
no one was in the mood for history lecture yesterday afternoon.
most of us were already in the christmasy mood.

dr goh's concert after that.
let me show u sth.
we're the ultimate fans of dr goh..


well actually, it was charmaine who came up with the idea.
just look at the tic,the pamphlet and the humongously big programme notes.
ah yes, the concert's quite good actually.
coincidentally i saw valmond up on stage yesterday with victoria chorale.

alright, i'm off to finish up those cards and get ready for school.

the phone call last night was good actually but it left me thinking about stuff.
hope u're feeling better now.

i'm stuck with that 40 pages of aural to be done
minus the quizes that is.
that harmony corrections which mr y*p kindly reminded us
tests coming up
gosh.
that's quite a handful considering that this is the last week.

on a lighter note,
hols are coming,
christmas is coming,
parties are nearing,
endless gifts to be exchanged.
all these are indeed worth the wait.
=))

and oh, this weather is purrrrfect for sleeping.
yet, i'm trying my best to complete that load of aural work
wish me luck.

i know, it's sounds kinda exaggerating that i've to blog once i'm done with a piece of assignment.
but i tell u, it's a sense of achievement can!
that heavy burden is finally off.
after fretting for goodness-knows-how-many-days, now i'm finally free from work!
alright there's still aural work, aural test and harmony test
before we can go on hols.
this term seems to pass very quickly, isn't it?

oh wells, i'm kinda stressed up by performance class.
since i havent started memorising the sonata piece yet.
i'm so dead can.
yeap, i'll be hardworking and start practising dutifully.
since they weekends will be packed again.
stayover with soymilk on friday night =))

my eyes are shutting soon from staring at the computer screen for hours.
and i haven't bathed.
but no, i do not stink =))

oh yeah, does anyone have the drama serial, triumph to the skies?
it's a hong kong show la and it's super nice when it's not dubbed.

we celebrated dora's birthday with the rest of the moe year 2s @ breeks.
oh yeah, koonie joined us too! =))
great lunch we had eh!
and lots of photos taken.
we got her this pretty sofa-like jewellery box and a necklace.
coincidentally the others gave her mostly earrings.
haha! so the box comes into good use =))

anyways, i realise that i cannot live on my own.
when mummy wasn't at home, i had to keep withdrawing money
coz usually she'll pay for my weekends expenses.
and when my dad n bro are not at home, i gotta do housework like clearing out the rubbish and doing the laundry.
tsk!
but anyways, they are ALL back.
and i'm glad they enjoyed themselves.

oh yeah, i managed to practise from 8pm to 11pm last night.
how hardworking =))
it's been a while since i had the discipline to practise for 4 hours straight.
but it's also because i've to play for performance class next monday
and none of my pieces are complete.

great time walking through singapore's history
more like a social studies lesson

slacked around in church with the rest of the youths in the afternoon.
brought history work with the intention of getting at least part of it done.
but i tell you, whatever i read just could not enter my brain.

we watched peter pan, not the animated one though.
the hall was so freezing cold la.
i kept sneezing during the show.

dinner at the coffee shop opposite church before heading home.
a day well spent hanging out with soymilk =))

i think i'm falling sick la.
feeling kinda dizzy while my nose is getting nuts.
it gets stuck this minute, and in the next, it starts running.
u know what i mean, not the literal kind ok. =)

mummy's not back yet.
daddy & aaron will be gone tmr.
oh yeah, even kevin and kenneth are gonna pon one day of school to join the others at camp.
which means i'll be left alone after church?

i got into the shopping frenzy this afternoon.

wasn't in the shopping mood at first
till the stuff i saw got cuter and prettier

but had to rush back to school for band.

which means spending more money.

mummy left for KL this morning.
she had a check-up first due to the migrane she's been having.
then she called me, 'girl, i'm going to KL now ah. will be back on sunday probably.'
and there she went off by herself.
hope she comes back with more stuffs for me!
then on sunday, daddy & aaron will be leaving for church camp.

it's december and i'm still studying.
everyone in my family gets to go somewhere else whereas i have to stay in singapore!
tsk tsk tsk.
but never mind, i'll spend the time getting the prezzies wrapped, cards written..

i'll be spending the day out tmr again.

brought the thais out on tuesday for some quick shopping before their afternoon flight.
we spent the whole morning at tecman while they got gifts, bibles, etc...

the group was rather big for soymilk to handle.

so it was more like 'kan3 yang2' (chase sheep) since we had to hurry them here and there.

sent 21 of them off at the budget terminal.

went to the doc's with shermaine and aaron after that.
the doctor was so funny la.
he actually gave me 2 days of mc.
joined the others at chinatown after that.
2 of the thais took wednesday's flight so they still had another night in singapore.

went to school for aural and history tutorial in the morning.
jwen n joby decided to pop over to my house during the 5-hour long break.
joby taught us a bit of yoga. haha.

then they went nuts and started giving me all sorts of hairstyles.

went back for sightsinging after all the craziness.
then met up with soymilk for jiani's birthday dinner @ cafe cartel.

as usual jiani got her special day treatment from us =))
i embarrassed myself yet again, but this time with sheena as well.
see, we wanted to sing the birthday song as soon as the cake came.
but who knows, i mistook keith's 'viking and the rock' (a huge serving of ice-cream) for the cake and started singing.
sheena sang too coz she was sitting next to me and didn't notice that it was the ice-cream and not the cake.
goodness, the others started staring at us la like we were some weirdos.
even the waiter who served the ice-cream couldn't help it and laughed.
i was super super embarrassed can.

TSK!
those who had school went home first
while the rest of us walked to cathay and settled down with a drink each.

alright, i gotta get back to practicing now.

my hairstylist has decided she'd stop styling people's hair (esp. mine) since it was an utter failure.
so she's trying her hand at culinary skills.
the future lim can cook
will it be a success?

anyways as i predicted, my muscles were aching super super badly today.
i couldn't even bend to pick up my scores during choir.
choir didn't go that well since we didn't memorise the words and we were still figuring out the notes.

performance class was short. an hour long
only about 6 people performed
a rather good performance since they'd just learnt the pieces.

met up with the s-twins after that.
bought gifts for the thais and we chiong-ed writing out the cards before meeting the rest at cineleisure for dinner.
walked the streets of orchard and they took numerous photos of the lightings and of course of me!
no la, we all took loads of photographs.

oh goodness, i cannot take it anymore.
i need to sleep now.
this phrase has been repeated over and over again in the past few entries.
anyways, till the next time.

i just came home from a long day
but it's the company that matters
and yes, today was a great day of hanging out with those from Bangkok and Korea

most arrived promptly at 9am
we started preparing breakfast while the thais had their equipping class
it was rather messy while we prepared the sandwiches
well, keith had some army stuff in the morning
so we were left to do the preparation
we were more organised when he came.
had breakfast and a game of ice-breaker with the thais
before heading out for lunch

went over to bugis after lunch for some window shopping
but i tell you
bugis was super crowded with youngsters
note that i seldom shop on saturdays since we have such long breaks during the weekdays
saturdays are usually packed with primary and secondary school students
today was no exception
people jostled their way through the crowd
and it gets rather irritating when they do not care if they bang into u
even the train ride to pasir ris was packed

ah yes guess who i met at white sands
ms chia sow yee
she never fails to call my name loudly eh
hahaha

games devo and dinner were held at pasir ris park
all turned out well and fine
at least everyone enjoyed themselves
reliving the times when we laid across on the main road in chiangmai looking at stars
just that we had mats and we laid on grass patches tonight.

those who went for internship returned on thursday
and they look rather tired, probably due to lack of sleep after the flight (?)

anyways, i need to sleep now..
hectic schedule tmr:
service, lunch-in, games at safra resort,
devotional at night and ending with bbq dinner

seemed more like we were reading off the instruments from the stuff we had
and having some of them to teach on how to play a flute
but i was zonked out during lesson
