but the diff is, jennifer clapped on the off beat, while dr goh clapped on the on beat.
so being the 'smart' pianist, he asked why did she clap out of rhythmn.
gosh! she told dr goh wad he asked in a super audible tone that everyone heard.

arh yes. went to the 2nd floor of bugis street to walk around. who knows. i walked round 3 times before i found that exit! i'm never going there alone! sickening.

we get to doll up, buy accessories, make-up, footwear, clothes, the list just goes on.
but on the contrary, it's usually during this time of every month that i wish i wasn't a girl.
my dear smart readers, u know wad i'm talking about right?
bingo.
yes, it's that thing called menstruation a.k.a. period.
that span of 3-5, (or maybe 7!) days is a hell of a time!
why?
coz, it's a total NO-NO to cold stuff, coffee, tea, soda drinks.
the consequences -- severe cramps.
that was my punishment for not listening to joby and jwen's advice.
2 packets of cold drinks in the morning.
the cramps lasted the whole afternoon, till the extent that i had to cancel ps.
and i had to endure eating hot tau-huey.
u know how much i hate taking hot drinks, and especially eating hot hau-huey.
now u guys know why our moods swing during that time of the month.
it's so unfair pls.
we girls have got to endure this menstrual pain for like 45 years (say we live till 70. minus our first 10 years. minus the last 15 years when we menopause), that's such a long time pls!
and plus, child-bearing pain. that's the limit!
hurhur.
whereas guys just have to go for 2 years of ns. yeah yeah, i know, reservist. but the guys stop going for reservist when they reach 40!
UNFAIR
and girls, pls dun ever try taking panadol pills to stop the cramp.
without a doubt, it DOES stop the pain.
but that's only temporary.
the pain comes back a few hours later.
and when ur next period comes, i tell you, u'll get to experience wad's the red sea like.
alright i know, i'm exaggerating, but pls dun ever take panadol pills, it just wun work. not even their menstrual pills. they are all gimmicks.

of all things, he had to give us the melody line.
hur hur.
everyone in class was complaining how difficult the test was.
how many modulations we had to do,
how many unessential notes we had to include,
where the accidentals are to be put,
whether to do tonicization or not,
what kind modulation, abrupt or pivotal type,
blah blah blah.
crazy.
so stressful to do harmony.
worse than A maths!
haha. anyways, school's getting colder and colder!
so contrasting to the 'outside world'
many people are falling sick.
sore throats, flu, headaches and whatnot.
dr kan got kinda pissed by dora during history lecture.

anyways, it was a disaster sitting at the back.

i was late for aural and there's a test today.
wad a great time to be late right?
oh wells, mr watson asked if i remembered there's a test today.
yes, i did. but, he didnt say much after that.
he loves to smile as well.
anyways, there's a VERY high possibility i'll flunk today's test.
the rhythmic qn was a total disaster.
i got the time signature wrong for the melodic part.
and for the harmonic, i guessed my way through.
totally not in the mood for test this morning.
today's platform was like the most interesting so far.
5 pianists and the percussion ensemble.
Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
the dress code for the performers was rather formal.
esp. the guys. all of them were in tux.
haha..their ties stood out the most.
purple, blue, red, etc...
went to marina sq with christoven to shop.
haha. it was more of window shopping since we didn't get anything.
left at around 3.20 since i had history tutorial at 4.
dr kan gave us work again.
it was a 90-min proposal the other time.
now it's some pair/individual presentation on lieder.
great, the stress is already here year 2s.
it's only history.

year 2's really a killer.

some didn't even sound like chinese music.
how cool is that!
anyways, harmony lecture was like a tutorial.
he went through stuff for the test this thursday.
and the 4 of us, jwen, dora, yanqiu and i had cup noodles for lunch!

and being the itchy-handed me, i fiddled with the stuff near the basin and pulled sth, thinking that it might be like a handrail to help the disabled.
but who knows, the minute i pulled it, water came splashing down.
dots. it was actually the shower. to think i didn't bother looking up.
the right side of my pants was so wet.

i've just broken my record of being the late queen.
i was late by an hour and 15 mins for brass lesson.
darren sim is taking over lessons from now onwards.
did some exercises, buzzed into our instruments.
and he ended lesson 20 mins earlier.

oh oh.
we tried the tau-huey at the other stall.
i tell you, it tastes sooooo much better!
apparently the bosses of both stalls are brothers.
but they're fighting for some shares and stuff.
yeah, jwen read about it in the papers.
one funny thing that happened.
darling jwen was supposed to 'dao' zy and samuel.
but she has that too friendly face, haha.
so she ended up talking to them per normal.
oh wells, ps wasn't that great.
couldnt that the correct notes.
irritating.
went for more food with sam n jwen.
made it in time for class though
minor slips during performance class.
but overall, was acceptable.
next friday is nafa's sports day.
they're holding it at sentosa, tanjong beach, this time.
it's much better than holding it at some sports stadium.

lieder - german art songs
that's the topic.
played loads of songs for us to listen.
everyone was glad when lecture ended 15 mins earlier.

almost every single piece of assignment had 10 marks deducted.
yeah, all in the name of 'late work'
but, karen's one nice lecturer.
we practiced our cornets today!

history time was disastrous.
first, we couldn't get the books we wanted since some super hardworking people took away most of the books.
his table was piled with those books.

and to make things worse, the laptops couldnt be borrowed.
what more could we ask for.
no books, no help from 'grove online'.
so in the end, i only handed in an unfinished mind-map to dr kan.

i think i'm suffering from depression.
my own definition of depression alright?
i eat a lot at times, and at other times, i simply dun eat.
i get super upset at the slightest thing.
but i can get super high at the next min.
funny how sch has turned me like that?

oh wells, i'm exaggerating, if that's depression, the mental hospital will have to either close down, or build more rooms for all n*fa music students.

it's not too bad, since now we're under mr wats*n.

yup, the 'live demo' woke everyone up!

but hearing her play the guzheng was really interesting.
brought out the feminity in her.
everyone got glued to her playing.

wanted to slip out halfway through that band concert on saturday.

it was so embarrassing to carry that ugly box around.
but i had her company.

mr ada*s made everyone in class play individually.
gosh. i sounded like an elephant, farting queen, what not.
and i was
oh wells, then i was told to practice in a practise studio for 10 mins before returning back to class.
that was so embarrassing can.
anyways, thx to christoven n fairul for 'teaching' me. and sihan for...being the audience. lol. yes yes, smile more.
i need a mentor! if not i'll end up failing this module.
piano performance class was alright.
but the 'bitchy' aura was so strong, even joby was kinda pissed.
who else but the 4 of them could be so irritating.
someone shd teach them manners, since they dun even have the basic respect of clapping for a performer.
yeah, wonder wad ro*ce sees in c*ndy.
attended st andrew's band concert with jwen, fairul, zheng yi, joshua, aaron and darling dot. haha.
their sound was quite good.
i admire the courage of the junior band.
despite the slips and out-of-tune-ness at some parts, they were overall quite good.
yeah imagine if j*a m*n was there. she'll give that oh-gosh-it's-spoiling-my-ears look, since she thinks she has perfect pitch.
i'm getting cynical.
walked over to the esplanade, without josh since he went off to meet his friends.
didn't go to the rooftop today.

watched nafa singers perform excerpts from 'cosi fan tutte'.
charmaine was so cute when she acted 'bimbotic'!
jeremy wasn't as expressive as weida, but overall he's good.
wang tong and the other girl's singing were powerful.
the first show ended at 8.
went to the roof terrace with jwen n dora, though dora was on the phone msot of the time!
haha. but, yeah, it was a nice experience chatting with jwenny dear....
haha..brought back some memories. =))
oh ya, nicholas (pp) is going in for ns tmr!

yup, they had 10 points in all. bedok had 9!
haha. oh wells, it's just a game. wad matters most is the fellowship we had.
yeah, was supposed to go for Valery Kuleshov's performance that night, but i couldn't leave the game when it just started, could it?
haha, anyways, i enjoyed the game. though i'm a dunce at soccer, i scraped through being the time-keeper. haha. kinda tiring to have to stand through that 3 hours.
but everyone did a great job! thank God the weather was good too!

commuter on Monday was alright.
foo mei yi was the performer for the night.
3 pieces with numerous movements.
and 2 girls had the guts to come in (in a swanking manner) just when the performer was still performing.

the selection at marina was not too bad.
but nth caught my eye.
joby wanted to get a black dress.
it suited her so well.
jwenny dear was sad coz she went home empty-handed.

i better get down to practicing and of course that program proposal.
seems like i'm one the few who hasn't handed in yet.

means a very high possibility of meeting dr kan.
