seriously i do NOT enjoy school now.
well at least not for the assignments.
usually during the first few weeks of school, we'd be in that holiday-ing mood.
but it's so not that way this time.
the workload's really piling up and no more leaving work till the last minute.
coz it'll definitely not work out just as it did for the last 2 years.
for now, that musical project's gonna be a feat, unless people work cooperatively.
so far the meetings have been grrrrrreat. coming up with so many ideas :)
then there's history, counterpoint, composition, principal study.
my days are practically burnt with nothing but school.
but but but josh is always there to make my day :)
poor him, his laptop's giving him a hard time and he's got tests.
praying hard it'll be fine soon enough.

i had ps this morning.
was prac like a walking zombie, and i dun really fancy playing those contemporary set works.
history was fine, other than that 'survivor from warsaw' which left me dozing off.

sometimes, i dunno if i look forward to going to school.
this year's just so cold, competitive and more true colours start to reveal?
prolly coz we no longer have combined lectures together, except for composition.
no more bitching together, sneaking out of lectures for food, snacking during lectures, etc..

lecture's at 11 tmr, followed by platform then music therapy.
with loads of breaks in between, as usual.
looking forward to meeting him tmr :)
then it's cell.

i've got no zeal to blog la.
that's all.

it's the first week of school and i'm already feeling kinda drained.
prolly coz u know u're in the final year and gotta really buck up.
i so wanna get into that degree prog la. and this year's results matter.
timetable's been good so far.
start at 11 on mondays & wednesdays, 10 on tuesdays & thursdays..
but fridays are the killer days, prac full day lectures (opera project, counterpoint & perf class)

assignments have already been given.
so no more being in that holidaying mood.
this year's modules are much lesser, at least for this semester.
coz the electives i chose are in semester 2 and conducting will be in semester 2 too.

alrighty, all the best to those who feel as drained as i am :)

christabel's hospital stay. she decided to teach us words from flash cards.
and look at her left hand la. that was where they inserted the tube.

it's been more than a week since my last entry.
anyways, the past week has been a busy week since school's starting tmr.

which means lesser time to hang out with friends and the boyfriend.
girls bible study will have to be on another day since veron's starting work on monday too.

met joby on monday for a 2-hour shopping at vivo.
caught harry potter on tuesday with jwennie :)) then we hit the stores as usual.

bible study, shopping, k-box on wednesday with the girls

shopping (again) on thursday with joby and dora at vivo.
pull & bear, zara, mango, topshop, river island, blah blah.
and the thing is i'm suuuuuuper broke.

so when u're broke and u keep going to vivo, it's damn depressing.

well other than shopping, i had practices with andris since her vocal exam's coming soon.

studied for BTT, went for e-trials and yes i passed my BTT on saturday morning.

cell was great.

grace did accountability time, jiani did songs, shermaine did sharing.

then we discussed about the new shirt and songbook.

everything will be finalised at the next cell, hopefully. :)

oh yeah, on friday, i met up with veron and we had lunch with josh and tab at ngee ann.

then it was pool session for like 3 solid hours before josh and dan came over.

dinner was at this french cafe at vivo, yet again.

pamela from moulmein coc works there.

the food was great, cheap and yummy :))

his huge husky was friendly, now i can proudly say i'm no longer scared of dogs :))

church today. uncle pak fook preached a sermon on 'midnight'.

the youths sang 2 new songs for the church.
gabriel came with his fiancee. they are getting married in september :))

choir's at 11 tmr, and we'll get to see the new batch of year ones.

wonder how they'll be like.

and yes, we're gonna be year 3s.

how time flies eh.

girls' bs was great as usual.
met up at rockymaster, marina sq.
haha. the people there recognised us, and they're uber friendly :)
we spent like 4 hours there sharing insights :) love it!

had cell on wednesday night.
there we were talking over dinner and my mummy mentioned about christabel being discharged.
lil weiliang went over and ask kinda softly,
'aunty aicheng, is christabel coming?'
super cute. they are always asking about each other during cell dinner every wednesday.

had our first practical lesson and 2 e-trials yesterday.
prac was great la.
driving manual just rocks :)
my instructor was super nice and patient.
the engine died once though.
coz apparently i lifted the clutch a tad too fast.
and yeah it died on me.
took me a while to get a hang of it, especially that super sensitive accelerator.
but during that 100 mins of lesson, i got to drive round the circuit so many times.
and my instructor was rather pleased with me :))
while the lesson was going on, i met quite a few familiar faces.
boonkeng, weixiang, this other girl from i-can't-remember-where.

e-trial was at 7pm. we did tests after tests in that super freezing cold room.
at the end of that 2 hours, my eyes were tired from staring at the screen.
2 more e-trials to go then we'll take our BTT next saturday.
hurhur. seems rather slow eh.
if only i din procrastinate and start learning when the school hols just starts.

ok great, i finally downloaded the program for my mobile.
so photos :))

this photo's long overdue. we were at ben & jerry's after the combined cell thing.
and as u can see, 6 guys sharing a bowl of ice cream.the ice cream seems so insignificant la.

met up with veron at noon yesterday and we went to visit lil christabel.
she was rather grouchy at first, but after a while she started playing and talking to us :)
we stayed there the whole afternoon la.
was about to leave at 2+, but she din want us to go, so we had a quick lunch and went back to the room to accompany her.
she's uber cute la.
just look at us being goofy.

oh this was during the last night of the singapore piano festival.
btw, jwen was in jeans! :))

anyways, after visiting bel, we met up with josh, danny, mervin and jeremoo for dinner and pool.
great spending time like these with them!
esp mervin, since he's the youngest and came 'uninvited', all of us just had to suan him. lol :))

great, i suddenly lost my chain of thoughts. period.
shall continue blogging tmr
off to bed now.
girls bs tmr, and i've yet to prepare my part.

well well, these few days have been great :)
first was jeremy chan's baptism @ east coast.
it's the first time i witnessed a baptism at a beach la.
it's usually at a baptistry or for mine, it was a swimming pool.
a whole lot of people were there, soymilk, gcoc members.
it was cell at geylang church after that.
uncle pak fook and uncle paul spoke to us about this year's ame
we discussed about the operation part and some other details.
it'll be good to maintain the name 'soymilk' coz it'll be easier for people like the thais to accept and warm up to the new batch easily.
and for this year's team, they still want 'stay-backs/retainees' to go on this trip.
i so wanna go la. that is if school allows me to >.<

anyways, lil christabel is in hospital due to high fever.
visited her at thomson medical after service today only to see her in tears.
they had tubes inserted at her left hand for the antibiotics.
coz it's faster that way and she'll recover faster.
she was kinda in a grouchy mood but on the whole i think she's fine.
after a while, she was happily eating her lunch and watching tv.
pray that she'll recover sooonnn :))

2 shows, i've been watching recently.
and yes i FINALLY finished watching nodame.
ending was good :))

just love the pieces they played in the whole show.

am watching hana yori dango II after kevin told me about it on sunday.
can u believe it?

a guy telling me about jap dramas and stuff.
haha. but yeah, this show's wayyyy better than that of the taiwanese version.
taiwan dramas are draggy and they emphasise a lot on the 'love' part,
jap dramas are very to-the-point kind, and their endings are always unexpected.
but so far, i love korean dramas since they just rock la.
although the storyline's just about the same, but then again, who doesnt wish for such beautiful endings?

bible study with the girls was awesome.

a month has passed and we never fail to meet up every week.

met up at rocky master, marina square.

the food and chocobits are just so irresistable la.

just love the way how we share our insights and are so frank with one another :))

shopped around then we headed to my school and spent like 2 hours practising.
josh came and accompanied me home :))

this 4-month-long hols has been really impactful
from that 33 days of internship, to camp at batam, bs with the girls, fellowshipping so often with soymilk, meeting up for dinners, piano festival with jwenny and joby, crazy girls time, that bill arnold talk, movies after movies with josh, spending time with him, glitter-art at my house, movie-ing at my place with jwen and aud, etc etc.

i've never done so much stuff before and i've made full use of this hols.

school's officially starting reallll soon.

some changes have gotta be made, like bs times and less of those hang-out sessions

and i've got to practice real hard since it's final year and i wouldnt wanna screw up my ps in my final year.

some random thoughts

i used to think that breaking up and getting together again was a total waste of time and energy. i guess it's only when u're not ready for a r/s then that thinking just kicks in. it's been almost 4 months, and that short break-up not only allowed me to know what i want, it also helped us understand each other better. unlike the past r/s i had, this one just gives me that feeling that it's time i settle down and take things seriously.

whatever it is, you make my day :))

a quick entry about what i've been doing lately.
met up with shijia and bf on friday night for dinner.
great to see richmond, thomas and xiao pang again.
after so long, they still treat us as lil girls. hurhur.
jap food was good good.

went to josh's place on saturday and we watched cheaper by the dozen 2
this guy's got tonnes of shows at his place la.
headed to his sec school in the late evening for a concert.
richard was in it too, and he looked hilariously-funny amongst those girls in the percussion section.

church @ bedok on sunday.
chionged home to shower and get ready, then met up with jwennie darling at marina square.
dinner at ministry of food (jap food again)
oh yeah, christoven joined us as well too!
it's been ages since i last met this diva.
he gave us a shock when he suddenly popped his head into the restaurant where we were sitting.
he told us about the viola summer camp he had at michigan.
super super suuuuuper cool la.
the usual rants about school, life and diva-ness.
then it was piano festival again at vch.
valentina lisitsa was good la.
her playing was so crystal clear that the out-of-tune grand din seem to bother her much.
the amount of strength she used was impeccable and the way her fingers flew over the keys just amazed me.
we only stayed for one encore piece, since nature..calls.
that marked the end of this year's piano festival.

met up with veron on monday for lunch at np with josh and tab.
then it was movies after movies at their school library.
the perfect score, big fat liar and mean girls.
3 super nice shows :))

caught transformers with josh's classmates and veron yesterday.
kinda interesting and not-what-i-expected-it-to-be.
coz i'm not a fantasy movie person, so shows like this are usually out for me.
but yeah, i enjoyed transformers.
then it was just the both of us and we caught yet another movie - hooked on you
storyline's kinda standard-hongkong-shows.
then it was dinner with my family at suntec.

ok i gotta runnnn.
i'm so gonna be late again.
and danggg it, i've got ps in the late evening, so bs has been changed to tmr morning.
