supposed to go in the morning, but the headache was killing me.
ended up sleeping till late afternoon before heading down to the doc's.
gave me 3 types of medicine which tasted bad!
i hate to take bitter medicine.
inflamed throat, high fever, blocked nose.
wadeva. they always come together.
antibiotics for my throat and for my wound.
it's been 3 weeks, yet it's not recovering.
should be going to school tmr since brass is at 2pm.
dad's surprise birthday party was a success.
he was so observant despite having the guests hiding in the vip room.
oh wells, he's a happy man tonight.

first was at the one next to pacific plaza. didn't get anything i wanted. jwen got a top though.
then we went to the one at wisma. but again, the fitting room queue turned us off.
went for a drink before continuing at taka. it's super crowded, messy and stuffy. the air there is super bad. so is the queue and everything. lol.

alright alright. went to church today.

had lunch with the youths at mac. being the klutz, i toppled my whole pack of fries!

during lunch it was super quiet. everyone's busy with their food. it seemed as if the girls didnt know the guys at all! haha. andris joined us a while later.
then when the guys were done, they went back first since they had soccer.
yupz, and the 3 of us started talking like there's no tmr.
on our way back, grace met her parents and they sent her home.
i took a lift from andris' parents.
it's a wonder how the youths from diff churches can get so close together.
yupz, all thx to soymilk. haha.
oh yes, the inter-church soccer thing is on 2 july, sunday, 6.30pm to 9pm.
and the problem? i can't go!
gotta go for the piano concert! and even worse! if cell's not at 4pm on saturday, i can't go too! coz i bought tics for sat and sunday! dots...

yes, that's wad we did for brass studies today.
was late again, no doubt abt that.
learnt to pitch. first an F, then a B-flat.
oh wells, today's the last lesson with darren sim since he'll be working full-time in a secondary school. aren't u sad, dora?
heard that mr adams might be taking over.
gosh, no more 0915 lessons. dots...
no piano performance today. so went shopping with dora n jwen.
yes, we had to go look for that belt shop, thx to dora's forgetful mind.
haha, but it wasn't opened yet. so we walked around.
in the end they got earrings, while jwen n i got shades.
didnt get any belts in the end since the salesperson had such an attitude.
arh! mango's having sale! 50% off storewide!
but, we didn't get anything from there since it was so crowded.
we'll be going back there on monday. hopefully it'll be less crowded and everyone else will be back in school and of course at work! haha..

lets see, it's thursday today!
as usual, i was late! haha.
but dr kan was late too!
analysis lecture at 9. analysed the scherzo and trio parts of the quintet.
wasn't paying much attention. it's hard to copy notes and listen to her talk.
right, i totally forgot about harmony tutorial today. so i went to class empty-handed. karen's lenient. so i'll hand in my work next week.
lunch at sunshine with dora n jwen. had loads of fruits after that. i think we're going mad. so dora, did u visit the toilet during ps? lol...
headed down to the esplanade with jwen n charmaine. looked around for scores. some piano work collection for analysis. didn't have an idea on wad to look for. so helped jwen get hers. she got debussy's children's corner.
it's such a coincidence that 3 of us are broke. i can't believed i spent 600 bucks in 3 weeks. and i dun see new inputs in my wardrobe! where did those money go to?
but we still went to mrs fields for brownies, esprits and pretzels. honey-mustard-onion pretzels. tried them once on the plane. it was so good. char loves them too!
hahaha. slacked around and started talking about sec sch days. hmm..seems like we were once 'naughty' students! took a bus back to school for history lecture.
argh..this is the climax of the day. kinda late though, 5 in the afternoon....
as usual lecture started at 4. being the restless me, i decided to get out of lecture for a while to get some food and of course fresh air. went to ntuc with nuz, met yinxuan n fairul there. got honey almonds. we sneaked out when dr kan was playing some pieces. we took quite a while since i had to top-up my cashcard as i was broke, remember? coz somehow it makes more sense to pay a $1.10 titbit with cashcard then nets. (to me la!)
so the 4 of us went back to the recital hall. my laptop was in a half-opened position. but i didnt take much notice. until when i opened the word document.
a sentence was typed,
'pls refrain from toileting and going out to get food during lecture times, dr kan'
and there was her smiling face. on my word document!
imagine the shock i got! and of course that wouldn't have been possible without the meticulous planning of the people sitting around me and i wouldn't have gotten such a shock.
meticulous as in, when i'll be back and whether they'll get caught by the lecturer!
lol! wad a joke! apparently jobyna typed the sentence, zhengyi suggested putting the pic, yongrui got that pic from the internet, jwen n charmaine being the accomplices! tsk tsk! oh yes, and everyone seated at the back had a very good laugh ehh?
oh wells, at least lecture wasn't that dry after all that nonsense. lol! time passed pretty fast =))

first i forgot i changed aural lesson to today, 10am. so i left my house at 0930.
then at the mrt, i realised i forgot my aural book, when i did the work last night.
and after making a call to jwen, my phone was left with one bar of batt.
but, thank God, everything was resolved.
fhairil lent me his aural book and fairul brought along his hp charger!
and i wasn't too late for class!
the class was pathetic. 6 of us only!
mr watson found out my work wasn't done. so told him that i didnt bring my book.
and he didnt say anything, just continued the lesson.
as usual him and his lameness. and he playing children's songs.
gosh! the homework he gives! is soooooooooooo much!
platform was at YMS auditorium. some chinese exchange program.
i dun like today's tutorial.
sight singing was fun (?) haha. dr goh tested us on triads. so many of them! diminished, augmented, major, minor, plus all the 7ths and stuff.
he's gonna give a test on that soon.
and we did rhythmic exercises. so much so that we ended class late!
had cell at night. pizza for dinner!
oh yes, it's 12.22am now.
wonder why i took like almost half an hour to blog a short entry?
was playing minesweeper flags. and i lost!
dots. it's always like that. i get distracted from blogging.
alright, it's thursday now. in another 8 hrs plus, the 'battle' is gonna start.
whole day of lecture! someone pls kindly save me!

but if u observe, those seated down are usually guys. as in about half of those seated down are guys. and u'll see those aunties standing up. those in their 40s, 50s aunties. yes, one might think that they aren't too old to remain standing. but think this through, by nature, women are weaker than men. wadeva crap about equal status these days. women no matter how strong they are/can be, they'll still lose out to the males in terms of physical strength.
and those guys who are seated down are practically glued to their seats with their eyes shut, or reading some book or mag. yes, there are some guys who will give their seat up for those who need it. but not many are willing to do so.
i meet all these type of people everyday. it really pisses me off. especially those who grab at the chance of an empty seat. wad's the use of sending these guys for ns when they rather seat for like a while and get off after a few stops?
right, there are women who snatch for seats too and it does gets irritating at times when they are young and they 'snatch' with the older ones.
crap, i'm getting cynical. i better stop.
oh yes, pls dun bother telling me that i'm being prejudiced or whatsoever. go observe first. and at the same time, reflect to see if you're like that too!
oh wells, on a lighter note.
brass studies was quite fun. other than cleaning the instruments. they seemed as if they haven't been cleaned for a long time. darren lim seems a lil crazy too. haha.
had ps with dr lim today. it wasn't considered a lesson since he said he'll not count it in. it's more like a meet up session.
and i went shopping with fairul! haha. went round and finally bought a pair of slippers.

and this time, i'll only let my close friends know about it.
reason being, in case ppl from school starts feedbacking to him about wad i've been blogging about.
yes i know that wadeva i type i gotta hold responsibility. oh wells, if n*** wants to get so sensitive with such blogging, i'll not put their name down in case in ruins their reputation.
tcm in the morning. yes, the workload is kinda light. written assignment and project. no memorising for exam. cool. harmony at 11. it lasted till 1, with homework of course.
pepper lunch with jwen, dora, shixuan, weikang, fairul and laurel. ordered the salmon pepper rice. it tasted quite good.
sx went off to meet her bf. so the girls shopped around while the guys went to yamaha to test mouthpieces.
then we went to eat, again! this time at gelare.
had waffles and weikang got cheated. haha. dora told him everything was on half-price so he bought a 'choc temptation' and paid $8.90 for that. lol.
slacked around, and we went to spotlight. we were looking at stuff when fairul came with this excited look. he saw utt! but when we went out, he was nowhere to be seen.
we started scolding fairul for tricking us. haha. poor him, he went around looking for utt.
then he got tired and we went to mac. and we ate yet again!
fairul n i went back to school. jwen n dora wanted to go home, but changed their mind and joined us.
slacked at the student lounge, then went off at around 6.
went to tecman to get more cards. gave all of mine at camp, so gotta replenish.
dinner at jack's place with mum. not too bad. the waiter was wearing dark blue socks with flip flops. haha. he looked so hilarious!
oh wells, my timetable seems kinda acceptable except for thursdays, of course.
platform at 1230 tmr, followed by history tutorial and sightsinging.
oh yes, i was 20 mins late today! luckily ms lim's an easy-going lecturer.
i miscalculted the time, coz i forgot i needed time to 'limp' to school.
there's a big blue-black at the heart-shaped wound. it hurts whenever i bend my knee =(

after 4 days of camp, away from the stress in singapore, and the things going on around me, i feel so much more refresh/recharged!
these 4 days were well spent with the Aggies from Texas, youths from Singapore and Malaysia.
awesome to meet the PJ youths AGAIN! yan ming, reagan, joanne, and of course dexter boy! calvin's as cute as dexter!
lessons by kelly d were wonderful!
the song was even more meaningful, 'This little light of mine'.
yeah, it's a song we learnt during sunday bible school, when we were much younger, but it was so apt for his lessons.
the aggies even had a new version.
6 groups in total. my group was called 'the bling' since it's gotta do with shining.
felt kinda lost on the first day, since only a few soymilkians and bedokians were there. but on the second day, it was really different. daniel n kenneth joined us on the second, irvin and cheryl joined us on the third!
the games planned were really hyper! so much so that i fell while playing 'dodgeball'. so suay! it was carpet burn! of all things. hurt like..rahs...
but i still enjoyed the games.
of course in all camps, fun songs are never forgotten. the aggies get real crazy and come up with all sorts of movements. but still, it was fun seeing all the youths singing and jumping around madly! lol.
the skits by every group were hilarious and meaningful! every group had totally different ideas, so it was really funny to see them acting.
oh yes, we had 'love pockets'. for people to write notes to one another.
it's really cool! lol. seeing everyone writing and writing and more writing. it encourages us to see our pockets filled up!
the one-on-one talk with some of them was very good. shared about our feelings and stuff. yes, especially when it's by the pool. how romantic! aww...
lol..i'm getting crappy, all thx to charlene!
we worshipped at Petaling Jaya Church of Christ. hospitable group of christians!
but sadly, we had to leave after service at 2pm.
and it's only the Singaporeans who left since the Aggies had to carry on with their trip.
the journey up to port dickson was about 4 hours.
but since PJ is much higher up, we took like 6, 7 hours to get back to Singapore.
i enjoy coach rides! especially on the way back. the coach was so empty, we could almost each take 2 seats.
yes, we all went hyper and started singing, doing stupid stuff and crapping around. and not forgetting the constant suan-ing from uncle pak fook and uncle paul!
oh my gosh! it so reminded us of the thailand times!
bryan from woodlands coc, sydney and ariel from pp took the same coach as us too!
yeah, we fell asleep when we got tired. the one-on-one talks again. haha.
oh ya, the causeway jammed! just right outside the immigration. so near yet so far!
and the queue was super long. all the waiting took up more than an hour.
the moon's full tonight. so maybe that's why most of us, esp. aaron, got so high!
lol. bryan guessed that i knew aaron for 6 years seeing how close we are. haha. but in fact, it's only 6 months. amazing ehh? haha. but yes, i really appreciate you being my spiritual and physical backer (kao shan). lol.
oh wells, it's back to school tmr. ehh no, it's 1225am now. so it's in another few hours. haiz, stress is coming back.
can't wait for cell!

met jwen at dhoby ghaut for lunch. yes i was late. haha..sorry.
met yikki n may at yoshinoya. they went to watch 'the omen' after lunch.
we shopped around ps, then suntec. ate a few times, as usual, both of us were a lil high and started doing mad stuff. lol.
shopped till 4+ before rushing back to school for sightsinging.
class started at 5. dr goh was in a good mood. oh crap. we were out of tune/rhythm and whatnot. haha.
went through a few exercises. charmaine went totally crazy. started singing chinese oldies. haha.
eudora's got a new friend and she decided to forsake her gfs! haha..
oh wells, only an hour of lesson for today. but it'll only be like this for this week only, since it's only the first week.
printed dr kan's notes. it's like soooooo much pls. it's kept safely in my shelf, i refuse to look at it. heh heh!
crap, i'm still not done with packing. so disorganised this time. everything doesnt seem to be in the right place.
8am at lavender mrt tomorrow. yay! i'll be away, while the others are in school.

great. mr yap showed our results to the year 1s. thx for laughing at me, richard! evil u! ya ya, i failed my harmony exam. most of us failed the paper la. oh wells, i passed the overall. good enough for now.
had history tutorial. right, it's dr kan again.
just learnt that we have a student email. right, when i'm in year 2.
and the emails are piling up. just checked it. dr kan already sent 3 emails regarding notes and assignments. we're gonna get soooooooooo stressed out this year.

hahaha..first it was mum who didnt allow coz of school.
but after attending the aggies concert, she said yes!

but he never informed me whether was it approved!
i waited till 6pm! evil! oh wells, i called the student admin. but apparently it was mr adams' office number. lol. so ya, he said it's approved, he didn't sound too willing though (right enxin?) haha..
who cares, my leave's approved and i'm going for youth camp!

Dear Year 2 Students,
I hope you are looking forward to the joys and tribulations of learning new skills this semester! Would like to encourage you to hone your writing skills in History classes this year. The course descriptor is attached for your easy reference.
You will notice on the timetable that there are three tutorial groups for History this year, and they will be organised according to the topics you elected in April. This will be the allocation:
Group A (Tuesdays, 2pm - C6.22): Lieder
Group B (Tuesdays, 3pm - C6.22): 19th-century Symphonies
Group C (Wednesdays, 11am - C6.23): 19th-century Keyboard Sonatas
Please also note that all handouts for History will be electronically sent to you, in advance of the lectures this semester. Please bring the printouts to class on Thursdays at 4pm. This will be our
modus operandi this semester, and I hope you will benefit by reading the attachments prior to the lectures.
Finally, please bring S$65 for purchase your course text and anthology – Music in Western Civilisation, which have arrived. I shall be facilitating the transaction during your tutorials next week.

there was no food, no water, a plain and empty island.
in this group, there was this couple who could have survived together.
but as the days past, the number of surviviors lessened, due to lack of food.
so the wife of this couple died when her husband went out to look for food.
so after a couple of days, a few of them from the group brought back food.
yes! everyone was more than delighted! so they started bbqing the meat that was brought back.
since they were so hungry, wadeva that they ate tasted delicious.
they were told that it was 'dolphin meat'.
finally, this group of people got rescued.
one fine day, the man (the one who lost his wife) decided to go for a meal.
this restaurant had a very safari 'look'.
after much consideration, he ordered dolphin meat.
yup, then his food came.
however, on taking a bite, he went to the highest level of the restaurant and committed suicide.
alright, that's the end.
now, can u guys guess why did he kill himself?
