and i tell u, it was disastrous!
they always get cranky everytime someone celebrates his/her birthday.
but today, they got worst!
coz veron n kevin celebrated their birthdays!
alright, they started coming at 4 in the afternoon.
everyone except cheryl n jiani came.
these 2 girls had to prepare for exams =((
while waiting for the rest, my mummy had to show them all my photos.

goodness, all the scandalous photos eh?

we tried the new song, blessed be your name, in parts.
under irvin's guidance, we made through the song very well!
given that it's our first time.

simply because i wasn't prepared for both papers at all.

i stoned during harmony.

but only to be told that it's not necessary.
analysis was a way goner.
i literally stared at the my pathetic one-page essay.
and those 48 boxes filled with letters.
but anyways, we went shopping after that.
though we didn't get anything,
this pretty flower dress caught my attention.
and till i find a nicer one, i'll consider getting that.

yay!
it's a great relief man.
the chopin qn that i was hoping so hard it'll come out, didn't.
how saddening.
in the end i did the schubert one which i only read through
and also the berlioz one.
by the end of that 2-hour long paper,
i came out, blurry-eyed, pained-fingers, wobbly legs...
it drained me of my energy.
replenished during that 45-min lunch break.
poor joby, she only had 10 mins to eat.
but wadeva energy i had after that lunch
was again drained during that 3-hour long analysis revision.
by the time we finished rehearsing for chinese music tmr
we were starving and almost dead.
ate so much at the prata stall!
anyways, i gotta get that chinese music score done.

the singing, the acting, the makeup and what-nots.
it was an interesting performance.
little emperor was way too cute.
record keepers were hilarious with their antics.
my seat was not too bad either.
haagen dazs after that was heavenly.
didn't get to study one bit yesterday.
we had a helluva fun having conference-msning at the com lab.
we spent like almost 2 hours at it.
managed to get the chinese report done though.
that's one assignment down, so i deserved a tau-huey treat.

headed down to school this morning
to meet up for tcm project.
but since chris & i were hungry
we went off for lunch first.
it's different working with people like weikang & chris.
they get super high at times la.
but we managed to run through 3 movements today.
left with one more song which we'll get it done
before the presentation on tuesday
went to church today
for the internship talk and get-together.
talked to p'robert about having internship in may next year.
they dun do internship at that time of the year
BUT
he's willing to do it!
yay!
we had a great time fellowshipping tonight.
with the guys doing the bbq-ing, clearing up and wadeva that needs to be done,
the girls were all in the youth room hanging around.

we waited quite abit for him.
so much for cabbing down to school.

quick lunch at sunshine
did the lecturer's evaluation thing
and completed one journal
viva assessment at 2.
it's actually performance proj portfolio in speech.
quite an easy task
since ew and el were rather nice.
but some people were rather untruthful about wad they said.
tsk tsk.
news of the day:
i practiced my cornet with jwenny and yanqiu!
haha.
but
i still sound bad.
apparently i've been using the wrong technique of buzzing notes.
and tmr's the exam.
how great isn't it?
then we decided to do more work instead of going home early!
the library was kinda packed.
and i tell u, there's this librarian which i totally loathe/dislike/hate!
she's so terrible.
always scolding someone.
she never fails to tick u off
over something trivial.
i think she's going through that stage.
anyways, all we did at the library was
choosing the essay questions to do
and looking for answers through grove
then sending it to our emails.
how i wish they'd turn into model answers when i read them at home.
but that'll never come true.
so i'll finish at least 3 questions tonight.

i seriously loathe school life NOW.
it's always the first few weeks or maybe months
where i'm still able to enjoy that holiday mood in school.
but now, just when hols are just in 2 weeks
i'm cracking my brain over some portfolios and
whatever crap we have to come up with.
i feel like a working zombie.
in the sense that my brain's being used on essays
and nothing else.
lugging myself out of the house
just to get some work done.
it just pisses me off to see so much work left undone
yeah i know
i shouldn't be complaining
since i wasted so much time before
but who does homework early?
is anyone preparing for exams now?
no! we're all busy completing the assignments.
that explains this:
only managed to complete one pathetic journal.
7 more to go.
this is only half a module's assignment.
there's still the other half (project part) left untouched.
alright, enough of venting.
i'm going to bed now
and stop thinking about assignments for a bit.

how to pass brass exam in 2 days time?

just when i was about to leave my house,
the sky turned so dark la.
and the wind was super strong.
for a moment, i thought we're gonna experience a storm.

only to find jwen still on her way.
slacked around school..
then we had our quick lunch
since brass was at 1pm.

it's the longest perf class i've ever had so far.

overall, i think we played quite well.

goodness, it's rather fast now.
which means, i gotta practice even more.

analysis presentation was at 8.45am.
i literally jumped out of bed at 9.10am!
it's like the most important presentation and i overslept
rushed out of my house and cabbed down to school.
was told that my group waited for me to present.
i was so stoned when i reach the recital hall la.
guess we didnt do that well.
anyways, now that presentation's over, there's the individual analysis to be done.
lunched with jwen, may, audrey, eudora, charmaine, williana, vincent, yongrui, shaun and yikki.
some kinda celebration since our analysis and their harmony presentations are over.
editted our history handout after lunch.
tau-huey break with samuel, jwen, aud, may, fairul, richard & sebastian.

we stayed for an hour plus at the tau-huey stall.
talked about so much stuff.
it's always like that whenever samuel's around.
when for analysis lecture after that.
seemed like maths lecture.
did some matrix thing.
just that it's in music terms.
but i was too sleepy to concentrate.
went to orchard with weikang, chris, may & aud.
to look for weikang's wallet.
but i left earlier since my mummy n bro were meeting me for dinner.

yesterday's concert was good.
other than us having to stand for almost an hour.
esp those who were on heels.
after singing the first movement, kyrie, i was already fidgetting.
plus the position i was in, there was no way i could give my legs a rest.
when the whole mass was about to end,
i suddenly felt very uneasy.
seemed as if, i was gonna faint and puke anytime.
went backstage to rest instead of staying for the applause.
it was probably the food i ate in the afternoon
since koonie also felt uneasy.
anyways, daniel n jeremy came for the concert.

and my mum was sweet enough to get me a sunflower.

it's 1.01am now.
just came home an hour ago.
late night out again.
i'll explain why in a while.
so, i skipped aural class today.
woke up with a bad headache.
as if i had a hangover.
anyways, i was late for music platform.
met dora outside the theatre.
a few pianists performed today.
rachmaninoff seemed like the favourite today (?)
had lunch with jwen n fairul.
then, here's the most hardworking part of me!
jwen went off for ps
fairul n i headed to the library to get our work done.
so i started on the analysis project since 2.30pm.
jwen came back at around 3.45pm.
was stuck with the project for another hour
until we decided to go eat.
continued again at 5+.
and then we were stuck at it till 10+pm.
that's around 6-7 hours of work.
all because of one project.
we werent left with any choices since tmr's the presentation.
and it's at 9am.
while we were at it, weikang got jwen n i SO pissed.
but given him and his antics, we were laughing and being angry at him at the same time.
came home with samuel and fairul.
editted some of the analysis work again.
sending stuff here and there over msn.
and finally it's done!

started off with 2 hrs of rehearsal for tmr's concert.
then got tickets for dad, mum, daniel and his friend, rafael and samuel's friends.
apparently i got the last few tics left.
so sorry to the year 3 teachers.

had lunch with jwen yanqiu n koonie.
we were so hungry we ate like we've nvr eaten before.
alright, that's kinda exaggerating.
wanted to do analysis project.
but the mood just wasnt there.
anyways, we saw the year 3 teachers prepare for their opera project.
haha.
they are super funny.
genie lamp, crowns, robe, and whatnot.
lol!
went for ps at 3+.
played the etude, sonata and scales.
will be performing this friday.
ok, EVERYONE from teaching will be performing.
and we're supposed to bring a friend each.

so the programme's out.

imagine how long i've gotta wait.

for once, we sang super loudly today.
why?
coz some people just refuse to open their golden voices.
mouth movements, but no sound at all.

we already sang the loudest we could.

waited like half an hour for chris to arrive.

then we walked to ps.
as usual, weikang couldnt resist the temptation of not walking into a cd shop.
and he took his own sweet time to pick and choose.
so, i left!

no la..i'm not pissed or wad la.
just that, i'm kinda tired after a day out.
plus that stupid ulcer in my mouth.
so sickeningly irritating.
