nothing exciting happened, just the normal school life.
saturday's cell at danny's was good!
especially since we celebrated daniel's birthday
and keith made the yummilicious cheesecake!
the changes made to cell was indeed working.
now i've got 3 nicely folded hearts sitting in my wallet.
the shopping with mummy on sunday made my week.
then monday came, which announces the arrival of yet another dreadful week.
yeah, as usual, it's the last semester so work's piling up.
but the projects are the main ones that are draining.
it feels dreadful just to think about them.
jwen refuses to lend me her full house dvd till the history ordeal is over.
knowing me, i'll get addicted to the show and not do any work.
so aud, u watch it yeah, rain's cute in that show (only that show, not in real life)
principal study this morning at 9.
i reached at 9.10, and dr lim came in later.
at least i had that few minutes to warm-up.
playing that brahms rhapsody requires a lot of energy.
just playing the A part got me worn out la.
and i've yet to memorise the second part of that fugue.
my progress is rather slow.
harmony project's due in 2 weeks time and we've yet to start on it.
oh yeah, i was caught (again) for talking during harmony lecture.
well, it's just us la, joby, jwen and myself.
each time we talk a lil, we get asked to read something, or answer his question.
hurhur.
but nie was good!
we laughed a lot, did nonsense stuff, blah blah blah.
future teachers eh.
and of course we climbed stairs as usual.
haha.
dinner @ ajisen, then pool with some people that i didn't really know beforehand.
danny, veron, marvin, andris, daniel, clement, clarence and weixian were all there.
even though i didn't know clement, clarence and weixian (though we met in church a few times) that well, we had a great time playing pool.
it's been ages since i last played la.
but it was hilariously funny playing with those guys and veron.
they got us laughing and laughing non-stop.
oh man, i'm so dead,
we're meeting dr kan for history project tmr
and i've yet to read through all my notes, let alone get the outline of the essay done.
i shall go sleep now and not think about it.
we'll fret about it after aural tmr, alright? =))
is it true that girls think more with their heart and guys think with their own sense of logic and being rational?
however so, some guys are just so insensitive to the things around them.
or should i say just plain ignorant?
well, not all la, just a few that i've been meeting recently.
and it does gets on my nerves at times coz they talk without thinking through.
the EQ is just not there.
but of course there are some guys are conscious of what's going on and are quite observant of the feelings of people around them.
oh wells, just a thought that has been going through my mind.

we celebrated joby's 19th birthday on friday.

i spent the weekends with my relatives.
we went to ah ma's house on saturday then shopping with my aunties on sunday.
didn't get anything though, wad a miracle eh.
but mummy promised to shop with me tmr.
yay yay!
just got home from platform.
a great performance from all.
work's piling up on me and i've yet to get started.
those presentations coming up, essays to write, song to compose, the list just goes on and on.
nie lesson tmr and i've yet to get the work done.
oh ps lesson at 9 tmr morning!
which means i gotta go sleep now.

i am depressed.
so irritating la.
guess i'm stuck in singapore this chinese new year once again.
not that i dislike chinese new year but i wouldn't mind going somewhere else for a change.
so i tell you, i'm gonna start looking out for those air tickets for this coming June.
yeah, the kiasu-ness eh.
alright, enough about those depressing stuff.
i've been late almost everyday ever since school started.
i was so late for aural today that i just pon-ned it.
and i almost wanted to skip sightsinging as well.
i must NOT be late for composition lecture tmr.
the last performance by aaron for platform today was funny and good la.
he actually sang while playing the tuba and part of it sounded like an almost-dying motorcycle.
charmaine and eudora introduced bishi-bashi to me just now.
it gets one super high! anyone?? haha!
yeah, now photo-hunt pales in comparison.
just a random thought.
no guy should ever tell a girl that her actions remind him of his guy friend.
(especially if it's the first meeting)
it is insulting coz the girl will think that she is rough/chor-lor in his impression.
either that, his guy friend is just sissy.
i'm off to try and get that harmony work done!

she's candice, met her at doug's partycute eh!
anyways, it's sunday already!
how time flew past this weekend.
it's back to school tmr.
attended church this morning, with uncle donner doing the sermon
followed by fellowship, then bible class with uncle guan.
it's the last chapter of ezra and i missed a total of 6 chapters of that book!
lol.
headed down to esplanade to do some intense reading of those notes that jwen and i photocopied for that history presentation.
but half of the time i didn't understnad wad i was reading.
then there was this girl, around 11 years old, seated at the table in front of me.
she was reading something off her lappy and she started crying.
the librarian asked her if she was alright, and she said she didn't understand what she was reading, thus the tears.
well even though i've no idea wad she was reading, but i think she looked kinda stressed out.
i mean, wad could an 11-year-old be reading and cry because she can't understand it.
seems like kids these days get stressed out easily.
but she still carried on reading while sobbing away.
poor lil girl.
then i spent the next 2 hours at pacific coffee company,
oh! and i met joby too!
i shall cut things short...
my parents came to pick me up and we had dinner at ellenborough (emc), swissotel merchant court
yeah the food was as usual good!=))

it was raining freludes and pugues
so jwen and i decided we should just take cab for once, despite all the extra charges.
it was pouring like nobody's business, we were already half drenched.
so this cab came along and we hopped in.
the cab uncle started speaking in chinese and for a sec we thought he was talking to us.
but no, he was on the phone with his wife and they were quarelling over some issues related to their impending divorce.
i tell you, we were so scared la.
coz the weather's bad, the traffic's horrible and the way the cab uncle shouted over the phone, wad if we got into an accident?
so we started smsing, calling people for some sort of security(?)
i dislike people talking at the top of their voices in enclosed area, especially in the car.
coz the sound kinda bounces here and there, so yeah i'll get headache-ish
sounds rather bimbotic but the loudness of the uncle's voice got both of us rather uneasy.
so anyways i got off at sengkang while poor jwen had to endure all the way back to woodlands.
alright, i'm rather tired after typing all that out.
soymilk came for cell this afternoon and they left an hour ago.
i've never done so much housework la

i need to catch some sleep now!

her name's june wong and she's so one-of-a-kind i tell you
i've never met a lecturer as easy-going (?) as her
the way she relates her teaching experience is just hilarious with all those antics
hope she wouldn't pile us with loads of assignments =))
attended opera scenes last night with eudora
the 2nd half was more interesting since they acted out as a group
unlike the first where they sang solo with the orchestra
papageno and papagena were cute la.
but overall it was not too bad, acceptable.
it's the third day of school today and i was late for half an hour.
just can't seem to wake up on time.
the bio-clock ain't working properly.
principal study was tiring.
sight singing was full of key-changing stuffs.
the others attended the opera scenes tonight while eudora and i left for our cell groups.
now my eyes are affected whenever i sneeze,
my nose has this feeling of getting choked on water when i cough
and it bled earlier this evening probably due to too much of sneezing
mummy says it because i'm too heaty.
it feels terrible coz i can't hear clearly too
*spare me the hello thing ah*

which means back to those days of rushing out work, practising those pieces, attending lectures/tutorials on time, etc etc...
choir in the morning followed by performance class in the afternoon.
it's the first day and i've started coughing and my nose can't stop running
not a very good way of starting this term though.
on a lighter note, i caught Night at the Museum with josh after perf class.
a rather hilarious yet a lil scary movie.
but on the whole, it's nice!
i'm off to sleep now
there's NIE class tmr.
plus the opera concert at school tmr night.
yeah more time consuming travellings.

she was back for only 3 weeks and now she's off to japan for her studies once again.
not many people were there this time.
daniel, jeremoo, aaron, kevin, kenneth, danny & valmond.
a lil miscommunication on the time we were supposed to be there but all of us managed to see her off.
last night's thanksgiving party @ geylang was good.
rather innovative with middle-eastern as their theme.
all the guests and the hosts had to dress themselves up with cloths.
and yeah, i think i looked like i just stepped out of the hospital/bathroom.
but oh the whole, the programme went smoothly.
i shall go sleep now since school officially starts tmr. =(
anyways, cell's at my place this saturday, 13 jan.
tell me asap if you're coming people, coz i need a headcount.

not that i've got nothing to blog
but just that the lazy bug is back again.
=))
i spent the week rather ___________ (can't think of the word)
so here's wad i did for the past few days:
some tedious cycling at ubin,
heading down to the newly opened ikea,
birthday dinner for jeremoo,
shopping and roaming the streets with jwen,
watched death note 2 (light is shuai, only in this season though)
and of course going back to school for ps lesson (wad a great way of ending my week)
oh no! doug's birthday party ended this week with a beautiful fullstop.
not that i do not count saturdays as part of the week.
but usually on saturdays, i'll be doing the stuffs that i enjoy =))
oh yeah, i met this cute lil girl at the party.
she's only 17 months and she's called candice too!
i tell you, she's adorable la.
alright i'll end this short entry here.

2006 has been a rather fulfilling year.
with God, family, friends, everyone that i know, yeah it's been a wonderful time =))
friends whom i've yet to meet for a looooong time,
those heart-to-heart talks,
those who spend their time crapping, pigging, shopping, talking, laughing, etc.
those rushing-out-homework-times we've had over this past year,
those who never fail to wish me on any special occasions,
fellowship with soymilk, youths from other countries/churches of christ,
and the list just goes on...
and not forgetting those new friends who have entered my life,
all of you people make my day =))
and 2007 will be another great year for me, isn't it?
well here're some resolutions for 2007
- QT to be done (preferably) daily
- a closer relationship with God
- internship in April/May/June
- treasure those relationships i have with family/friends
- be more diligent and not leave my work to the last minute
- practise regularly
- start exercising and get those fats off
- get my driving license
- save more shop less
- remove that absent-mindedness in me
that's it for now i guess.
anyways, we're going cycling at pulau ubin tmr.
those who have yet to reply danny, do so asap.
