cell just ended. i'm at andris' house now. kevin n i stayed over.

shermaine msged me this morning. she was like, evan how i got reunion dinner tonight how?
haha. what can i say? cell and reunion dinner. but i felt that she n sheena should go for the reunion since it's a once a year thing and cell's twice a month. so, sheena met up with me at sengkang mrt to pass me their notes at around 4. then, i took bus 965 to andris' house. it was kind of a long ride. and i had to look out for this 3M building so that i knew when to get off. and i lost track of where i was travelling. too engrossed in sleeping. but, i still managed to get down at the correct bus stop.
kevin n andris came down to meet me. kevin came earlier since they wanted to get daniel's present. so i thought they'd get the stuff for church's breakfast. then, went we were in the lift, i casually mentioned about whether did they get the stuff.

andris was like, 'oh crap! we totally forgot about it'

dangs..imagine if we were to go empty-handed to church tmr, without proper breakfast for the whole congregation.
but anyways, we went to admiralty to get daniel's cake and the breakfast things. since we didn't want daniel to see the cake, kevin took the things back to andris' house while we waited for the others to arrive. daniel, aaron, nicholas and candice were among the first few to reach. guess wad? the first thing aaron said to me was, 'evan, u look down, like got some things up in your mind.' cute la..of all things he don't observe. well, maybe i was slightly troubled.
then kenneth and kevin came. a pity keith couldn't come again. cheryl and jiani came slightly later. nicholas and i noticed that cheryl looked kinda flustered when she arrived. like there's sth up in her mind.
we had our dinner then proceeded to andris' house. how smart of us to walk one bus stop then decide to take a bus since it started raining. met jeremy at the bus stop.

then cell started. did a few songs. i just love the times when we sing. we sould become a pro choir. not a bad idea right? then we started with the purpose driven life book. kevin did day 1, jiani did day 2, then we had a few songs. nicholas did day 3. he's was so long la. and all of them seemed to have prepared. i did day 4. i read it once during the beginning of this week. but somehow my mind went blank just now. and i literally rattled off whatever that i read and came to my mind just now. but thank God that through him, i managed to do my part. day 5 was by shermaine. kenneth read her notes out to us. daniel did day 6 and we had this 'hands-on' experience. we were supposed to close our eyes, hold on to our breath and see how long we could last. apparently when we had our eyes closed, daniel tried to draw on us. whatever daniel, as usual. haha. andris read out sheena's notes for day 7.

our dear daniel had his 'birthday cake' prepared by keith. but he got his face smashed in it. but we weren't that mean since we bought a real one for him can. haha. we discussed about the next cell and the trip up to petaling jaya. it's so sad la. no hols for me in march, which means i can 100-and-1 % forget about going up to PJ with them.
everyone left at around 10.30pm. the 3 of us went down with them. the 'eastern' people took bus home, and the others went home by cab. then, the 3 of us decided to go for a walk. we walked for quite a while. talked about a lot of things. like how we changed since the mission trip and about what we learnt from cell. today's cell was very meaningful. purpose driven life is a very good book. *whatever that God has done, he did it for a purpose*

when we got back, uncle andrew told me that mum called me a few times. called her back. apparently my grandma wasn't too happy about me attending cell and not going to her house. i felt so dejected la. it's not like i'm the only grandchild of hers who doesn't go to her house. aiya i dunno la. but when i think back, i cannot blame her. i really wish that she will be able to accept Christ one day. she's suffered quite alot..with cancer, leg operation and stuff. it's not really nice.

but anyways, i'll end here. shall carry on talking to andris and kevin.
