it's time i should start blogging.
here goes..

Friday

met jwen at cityhall at around 10+. i was early, so walked around raffles city shopping centre. none of the shops were opened yet. went to jason's marketplace and bought a bacon stick, after jobyna's recommendation.
then jwen n i went to esplanade. u must be thinking, y would the both of us go to esplanade so early in the morning. ya, we had to get scores for history work. no choice, u see.
reached esplanade library around 10.55am. it wasn't opened yet, there were a few people sitting outside waiting for the doors to open. so, 5 mins later, the doors opened. the library staff were standing along the entrance and greeting us. how polite.
spent quite a while at the library, since the scores were no where to be found. we were so tired after thursday's thingy, we practically sat down and didn't want to get up (among the shelves while looking for scores).
then we remembered dr kan saying that she didn't want any repetition of any composers or genres. sian la! we didn't even know what other composers there are in the classical period other than haydn, beethoven and mozart. haha. not dumb ok, just that we couldn't think of any.
so i decided to only get the string quartet and symphony. still left with concerto and operatic extract.
jwen then felt like eating pasta. so we went to the pasta mania at suntec. the pasta mania there is so no good. situated in the food court. tsk tsk. but anyways, i had a marinara and jwen as usual had her creamy chicken.

went down to echizen with jwen after that to get the money from richmond for zhe guang's dad's funeral.
then, we went to heeren to walk. it was like 2+. walked around, looked at clothes, accesories. both our arms were still hurting from the sunburnt, plus we were carrying shoulder bags, that made the pain worse. (understand? coz the way i phrase it sounds a bit weird to me)
so we decided to sit down and have a drink. went to spinelli, but they didn't have the drink i wanted. so made our way to paragon. went to starbucks, and we had the sofa seat. *phew* if not, even our butts would hurt.
jwen had a coffee(ice-blended, with orange, i think) and i had a raspberry blended.
it was like 3+ when we sat down. i thought i was meeting gerald and weeyang at 4.30. then, weeyang called saying he's meeting gerald at 3.45. dangs. which meant that no matter how i rush, i would be late. so sat until 3.30, then gerald called me. great, i was really late. took a bus and it brought me to marine parade, then i got down. the bus was supposed to go to the airport, not tampines. sian.
so i took a cab to zhe guang's house. gerald and weeyang were already there. we sat for like half an hour. zhe guang looked ok to me. anyways, hope they'll able to have the strength to carry on.

went to boonkeng's house for steamboat. when i reached there, i saw this guy in the house, at first i thought he was my auntie's friend. who knows, it turned out to be my cousin's boyfriend. no offence, he really looks matured. hope she doesn't read this. haha.
had dinner, then played blackjack. didn't have money with me, so bro was kind enough to lend me, in the end i lost. sian. haha. sorry.
dad came to fetch us at 9+. reached home at about 10, since we sent my aunt n cousin home first.

Saturday

since i didn't do much visiting during the first 3 days of cny, today's the day to make up for it. went to my paternal grandma's place in the morning.
since her lunar birthday falls during cny, bro n i gave her a red packet.
it's been a year since i last saw her and my xiao-gu. she looks older. yupz, she's the one who stays in chinatown.
stayed in her house for an hour or so, then went for lunch. after that, we went to kovan, where my mum's cousins stay. since none of them are married, so no ang-paos. sad.

left at around 4, and went home. mum and bro left the house at about 5 to go to grandma's place for dinner.
i met aaron n jeremy at tampines mall. had long john for dinner. cell was at aaron's house. only 7 people turned up, due to the 7th day of cny which is also 'ren ri' most had dinners.
anyways, we did the purpose driven life days 8-14. it was more of an impromptu thing, since no allocation was made. but, everyone did very well.
i left just before kevin, andris, grace, charmaine and charlene came.

Sunday

church. as usual, the youths had to prepare breakfast for the next few weeks. i bought breakfast since andris n kevin had to serve and grace was still at home.
today's sermon, John 4:4-42 (if it's correct).
bible class - Proverbs 1:1-7
gotta start reading up on proverbs.
just had dinner at soup restaurant. the food there is delicious. yum yum.

okies that's about it for the past few days.
