i had problems waking up today. slept throught the train ride.
eudora n i were both late for aural! thank God, yohanna was in a good mood.
she went through some exercises and asked me to sing one of them. had a not-so-good throat in the morning probably due to last night. so i sang like an octave lower. again she gave 4 pages of work.

we had history tutorial at the library. apparently dr kan thinks we do not have enough work. she gave us more group work. gosh la. with all the projects, portfolios and the due dates nearing, how to cope?
oh wells, we managed to get the video tape (mind you, it's not vcd/dvd, but tape!) of fidelio. watched it in the library. there were no subtitles, everything's in german. we almost fell asleep watching it. it's an interesting opera to read, but when it comes to the singing part, having subtitles will be a great help. but, poor us. throughout the whole time, we didn't understand a single bit. we've tried looking for the vcd/dvd, but to no avail. so we've gotta make do with the tape.

we were slightly late for singapore arts scene. no going out today. so at the start of the lesson, all 5 of us went out, on the pretext of going to the toilet. but actually, we went to look for dr kan to return the tape to her. so we took quite a while to return back to class. and when we entered the recital hall, there was quite a commotion. dr tan was taking attendance and each time she called our classmates said, 'toilet'.
since we were sitting at the back, she asked us to move to the front. but instead of calling our names, she called us the toilet girls. dangs la.
well, she showed us photos of old singapore. lesson ended at abt 3+. slacked around in school since i wasn't meeting boonkeng that early. tried the flute again. but i'm lousy at it. i just can't seem to blow properly. oh wells, maybe brass is better for me. lol.
jwen and i left at the same time. took the bus down to suntec. he was already waiting for me. sorry la, didn't know u'll be that early. singapore food fest was a disappointment. nothing much there.
wanted to go to heeren to get neoprints. but this idiot here refused. fine. we went all the way down and he told me he didn't want. anyways, we walked down to far east. but when we were around wheelock, we were too tired to carry on walking. went to the birkenstock shop at wheelock. it was crowded. the selection there is limited. oh wells, kinda disappointing. anyways, i'm trying to get aunt sayang to get them for me from the States. it'll be great, hopefully it's cheaper there. and she's coming back to singapore soon, in 5 days' time. dunno if there's enough time. =\
otherwise, we gotta get grace to buy for us from Czech Republic in June. but june's like so long from now.
took bus 7 with boonkeng. it took like half an hour to arrive. i dropped off at dhoby ghaut. reached home at around 8.
had a call just now. it's like so coincidental la. didn't know we had the same thinking. cool. lol.

tmr's gonna be a long day. but i'll enjoy it!! the thais are finally coming down. the long awaited day! yay!!!
