i was almost an hour late for brass studies today.
my sleep was disrupted in the middle of the night by a super painful cramp in my left leg.
couldn't get to sleep after that, so i overslept till 8.30am.
he wasn't too happy with us not practicing.
oops.
anyways, since we had a 5-hour break, jwen came over to my house.
instead of me sleeping, and her practicing, we ended up 'playing' with my collection of pooh bears and tigger, and of course watching 'my name is kim sam soon'
haha.
performance class these days are getting from bad to worse.
not in the standard of the pianists.
but the way they dress when they perform.
it's so not right, even though we're from the teaching course.
wearing board shorts, slippers, etc..
u're not performing at the beach pls.
at least have the basic respect of dressing up.
u dun have to turn up in tailored pants, fanciful blouses.
just at least a proper dress code.
alright, my perf today was totally screwed.
my pointed heels got in the way when i pedalled.
so i couldnt concentrate on playing.
messy notes, fluctuating rhythms, blah blah blah.
double darn.
got kinda pissed with it.
went over to geylang coc for the a capella concert.
the sendai mission team.
they sing very well. i like the way they harmonise, their sounds are rather full.
they're conducting a singing workshop from 4pm-6pm at moulmein coc, followed by a concert at 7pm.
i'm super zonked out now.
