Our day started early at 7.30 am with a team devotional. We are reading through the Gospel of Mark together on this trip. Candice and Aaron helped facilitate the group and came up with questions for the group.
It was breakfast after that. We went to the nearby Pratunam market to have some noodles and fried rice.After that, we had a team bonding assignment. Divided into two groups, the youth were to dress up one of their group members with a budget of 300 baht. They had fun working together and making decisions together.
We had a short stop at Big C mall for some refreshments and rest. We then went back to the church building.
6 Thais took our team to lunch and to the Grand Palace. The trip there was by the BTS (Bangkok Sky Train) and then a boat ride. They look around the palace grounds and then headed back to the church building.
It was 6 pm by then and the youths learnt to cook a Thai dish. Dinner followed and the Thai youth had a lock in with our youth. They sand, prayed listened to a devotional lesson by one of the Thais and played games.
Kevin and Kenneth arrived from Singapore on the Air Asia flight. By the time they got to the church building, it was already 11.20 pm.
We ended the day with a team meeting and prayer thanking God for a full day in Him.
