We had breakfast at about 7.30 am. It was a treat from the adults. We went for prayer walk after breakfast. It took us 3 hours to pray continuously while walking along the moat. We prayed for each other in pairs. It was meant for us to motivate and encourage each other. We learnt a lot from this prayer walk and it inspired us a lot. It has stretched our ability to pray. We prayed for many things such as the situation in south Thailand, growth of relationships amongst Christians etc. All of these allowed us to grow and be drawn closer to God. The guys did their sharing on different topics during the prayer walk. They did a great job in sharing, praying and leading songs.
We had lunch at Brownie, a Western buffet restaurant. We ate a lot as we were hungry from the walk. We went back to the Christian Zone for team debrief and devotional after lunch. During the debrief, everyone shared their thoughts on the prayer walk. Team devotional was facilitated by Jia Ni and Jeremy at around 2pm. They went through Mark 8-9. Evangeline prepared the songs. All of them did a wonderful job.
We called the Payap University students whom we invited the day before. We met up with most of them outside the 7-11 shop near the Zone. However some weren’t able to come up. 5 of them came and we played games and sang praises to God. Evangeline and Sheena shared their stories of how they became Christians.
We went to Carrefour to have our dinner with the Thais and the new friends who had joined our cell group.
We had our free time after dinner. Some played ping pong, some sang songs and played games. After that, we went to rest.
